it could be made of tougher stuff but i guess it's not bad for the price. the egg rack cracked on mine. seems like someone shoved something into it and the cooker got mashed between the wall and whatever they were shoving around the counter. kind of...

It cooks great eggs without any intervention. I've cooked both hard-boiled and poached eggs in it and they always turned out good.
