Consumer Fraud! No warm water; just hot or cold! No fix

WT5101HW. Purchased Aug/2011.TROUBLE since day one. Unlike others here, we can't "fiddle" with hot/cold valves; our value is single lever. My machine, on any warm cycle, produces water at a 72 chilly degrees, which happens to also be the exact temp...

super large capacity ; numerous settings ; lovely chime to signal end of cycle ; display show minutes remaining for cycle ; clear lid

complete lack of warm water temp (and no fix according to tech) ; have to push button for fabric softener or won't dispense ; many problems began at first cycle. machine only a month old and repair coming 2nd time already ; bleach no dispensing ; did I...

Not Bad - Experiment to Get the Most Out of It

Yes, the water temps in this washer are not on par with my last washer. (For the record, that last washer of mine was a Kenmore Elite that I had for four years. It broke 3 times and on the last repair call Sears apparently did not want to come out and...

Big Drum, lottsa options, pretty colored buttons

Instruction manual in broken English could explain more of the ins and outs of the washer ; Overpriced by a few hundred bucks

Expensive rust bucket

Have had washer only 1 and a half years. Already rusting around the bleach dispenser. At this point LG unwilling to do anything about it since it's out of warranty. Purchased extended warranty, but considered cosmetic. Shop around for a better, more...

can wash large items

Over priced rust bucket

Defective Finish on Silver Model

I have never paid more for a washer and dryer in my life. I have never had a warranty claim on any washer or dryer I have bought and most lasted well beyond a decade. LG's top of the line as has been a big disappointment and frankly, they ... Expand...

Nothing that makes me want to spend this much money

If you use chlorine bleach the top of the machine will corrode, even if you don't use the bleach dispenser. I am on replacement top #2 and it's rusting away. This has never happened with any other machine I owned. The underside is unfinished

I love this washer!

No more front load for me! Washer is quiet, cleans well and I've had absolutely no problem with knotting in large or small loads. There's a cycle for everything, eliminating programming, but still custom programable if desired. Drum size is great

After a month, I haven't found even one

Nice try but some serious flaws. Problems with WT5101HV

When the machine was delivered and installed, I could not believe how much laundry it held. I thought this is great. It actually washes well and a full load. Unfortunately, it also ties my clothes in knots while it is washing. When you take your...

Washes large loads of clothes

Ties your clothes in knots while washing ; Dispenses fabric softener with the detergent at the beginning of the wash ; When selecting HOT wash, you get a luke warm mix of the hot and cold water lines

Excellent machine

Apparently those complaining about the "hot water" issue haven't bothered to read the manual. The HOT and EXTRA HOT cycles use the interior heater to get the hot water to 122 degrees and the extra hot (sanitize) to 158 degrees. The water coming in is...

Has ALL the attributes of a Front Loader without the well known design flaws of Front loaders (mold issues, premature bearing failure and seal leaks)

Don't know of any yet

This washer has spoiled me!

This washer is premium quality. It has a 5.2 cubic feet capacity and a stainless steel drum. It's unlike any washer I've ever used. I recommend becoming familiar with the Owner's Manual, specifically "Parts and Features" and then "How to Use." The...

Construction, design, performance, warranty

It's a little pricey
