Works well for its price. I used to pay $9 a month to the phone company for voicemail- so this will pay for itself in two months. I don't like the color- white electronics are tacky. Very 80's. Hmmm. Still worth it though.

When I scaled the landline back to local only, the voicemail service went also. Got this for messages and was reminded how easy it is to use a simple answering machine. Prefer this to voicemail service...

Arrived quickly, works great, simple to setup. But, I don't care for the constant beeping to let you know there is a new message on the machine.

seriously, you can call your landline, hit #, enter your code and it will give you your messages from anywhere. I didn't know it was that awesome when I bought it. Everything else works great too.

This appears to be a great and economical unit, functioning exactly as it should. The space it takes is less than 5"x5" and it is easy to use.
