GE 2-5865 Cordless Phone

1. If background noise gets loud (my kids yelling in the background) the RECEIVER volume goes down. That makes no sense. If there is background noise, it LOWERS the volume in my ear. I'm guessing that it's incorrectly applying some automatic gain...

This phone was disappointing. I am packing it up to return it. I guess some of this has to do with the lag in the landline phones behind the cell phones. This phone is so slow to register your input that I end up repeating the number over and over. The...

You can live with the clicking noise when it switches from PSTN to VOIP but you cannot live with the horrible noise and static on the VOIP line. It does not work with Yahoo Messenger either. Get something else!

Although this phone had the features I THOUGHT I wanted (4 mailboxes each having the ability to receord their own outgoing messages) the static and the lack of clarity in the recording makes it worthless.

Olympia OL5860 5.8Ghz DSS Cordless Phone with CID/Call waiting

THIS PHONE NOT ONLY DOESN'T WORK, BUT THE AC ADAPTER GETS SO HOT YOU COULD GET BURNT OR POSSIBLY START A FIRE. THIS PHONE SHOULD BE PULLED FROM DISTRIBUTION. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
