OK if you need a basic phone

The phone serves its purpose and lasts a few days off the base. The sound quality is pretty good and quite clear.

Philips Phones

Bought to replace an existing Philips handset that we had used for several years. Upgraded to the 2 handset set up and have not been disappointed .

Disappointing battery life

I bought this phone specifically because of the 180 hour advertised battery life on standby, and also because it looked simple to use. Unfortunately, although it is simple to use, the battery life is only half that shown - very annoying.

average phone,

lightweight and stylish, not the easiest to use and shows a call log on the front everytime someone calls, it would be better if it just showed symbol when you miss a call. Audio is a bit muffled and the HD didnt make much difference, choice of tones...

Bad Purchase

It is not crisp quality sound, and the buttons when pressed do not do the thiings they are suppose to do. When trying to get your messages back from 1571 the buttons won't work when pressed. Total load of rubbish and not reccommended.

Disappointed

Returned item with 1 week, poor quality sound, could not hear what was being said on the phone.

Life changing

Classy, uncompromising, nifty and effortless are just some of the words that have been used to describe what is ultimately, a telephone.

Philips CD1702B/05 Telephone - Twin

Good phone but returned it as it does not have handsfree/speaker facility and the wording in its description is a bit misleading. Should have read the reviews as one lady did mention this. Do not purchase if handsfree/speaker is one of your requirements.
