This is a truly stupid phone.

The overly complicated, counterintuitive, over-rated phone with the indecipherable set-up instructions make it useful only as a paperweight. Try to use it like a normal phone and all you will get is frustration and failure. Look up the instructions and all you will get is angry and confused. The phone actually seems to be designed to prevent ease-of-use. Unless you press the correct button, for the correct amount of time, then immediately press the next button (which is not specified) followed by typing in a confusing set of numbers, followed by pressing the 'up' key twice, then the 'down' key once, then then 'mode' key with just the right amount of pressure, the stupid phone will not work. I'm exaggerating, but not by much. I've had this phone two years and have gotten it to work maybe four times -- then it went on strike. I have never encountered a more-difficult-to-use phone in my life, including when I was operating communication equipment for the Navy. The person who designed this phone should never be allowed to design anything else for the rest of his life. I HATE this expensive, over-complicated phone. It is exactly the opposite of what any senior who wants an easy-to-use, dependable phone is looking for. I can't say enough bad things about it.

What a joke!

What a joke!

I have moderate hearing loss and use hearing aids. Just bought this phone thinking it would be an improvement over the external phone amplifiers that go between the phone and the handset. The thing is a joke. It is not very loud, in spite of the...

I've waited a long time for a phone like this one.

Having been hearing impaired since childhood, I'm glad that technology has finally acknowledged the needs of the hearing impaired. The amplified phones of the past don't hold a candle to the Clarity C4210. After carefully reading the manual, I found...

Disappointed

I am moderately hearing impaired and frequently have difficulty hearing on the telepone. This Clarity phone seemed perfect for me, especially since it was supposed to work well with hearing aid tele-coils. It's okay, but the sound isn't as clear as...
