It has worked fine for me

It has worked fine for me

Apparently I'm the black sheep here. I too bought this phone based on the Consumer Reports review and I've been pleased with it for many years. It's been reliable and, although I rarely leave it off the charger, the batteries only started giving out...

Piece of you-know-what

This phone crapped out on us after just a year or so. Caller ID stopped working, and it doesn't ring when people call. Total waste of money.

Great for the price

They seem to have helped the "big button" issue that I had on my old GE phone with hanging up on the person.

The price is great. Having the two phone bases works well. The voice quality seems to be on par with the other phones I have had. Range is about average

I was unaware that I would not be able to use both phones at once. Not a big deal, but wish I would have known that. They have a transfer button to switch between phones

Aww, no speakerphone? =(

These things were a bargain. I can't complain at all about them. I haven't had a new house phone in YEARS. I couldn't figure out why my second handset wouldn't let me dial... then I realized that it needed to be registered on the main base charger.

They look sharp. The second base that can be placed pretty much anywhere is awesome, especially in the wireless world that we live in. The sound is clear and crisp the phones have full of standard options. Very generous battery life

There is no speakerphone. I never use it, but the absence of it was overlooked. The first thing someone at my house noticed about it was the lack of speakerphone

I received this phone set as a gift. After four months the audio on the first phone died out along with with keybad and then the recall button. The second phone soon followed suit two months later. What garbage. All from a company that builds airplane...

Not worthed

I bought the set a year ago and the battery is already dead. I can't leave them out of the charger so whats the point of being cordless. GE really sunked it this time. Better sell this division because is hurting the image I had of the company. Don't...

Voice Quality Isn't Good

Voice Quality Isn't Good

I bought this phone because Consumer Reports rated it "excellent" for voice quality. Not! There was a lot of echo and a tinny quality, which changing channels only helped somewhat. I didn't have a problem with distance from the base, but I may have...

This phone is a piece of junk!! I was so diappointed in GE!

My other phone was getting old and I needed a replacement. I thought the idea of the extra handset was great. I bought the phone and set it up. I was not that pleased with the reception but lost the receipt so I figured I'd keep using it. Well, the...
