This phone is not a patch on the amplicon for loudness in fact it is no better than any other ordinary phone on the market and it is double the money. If you are hard of hearing dont waste your money on this phone.

The phone works fine and my brother, who is a rather deaf, can at least hear me when I call. He does, however, have problems accessing stored numbers and has somehow deleted his address list in one fell swoop! I shall reinstate it when I see him next.

Easy to use, good range from base. Purchased for a 90 year old who can now have a normal conversation on the phone without the caller shouting insanely down the other end! Big numbers and screen make it ideal for this purpose.
