BAD BAD business choice!

Horrible- i have had nothing but problems with my system in my business. It may be fine in a home enviroment or in a business that does not require more then 3 handsets - but i purchased it because of its expansion capabilities. I am looking for a class...

Great Small Business Phone

I run a small, but very busy repair shop. I'm alone most of the time, and need the flexibility of a cordless. I really enjoy the headset jack, for those times when I'm put on hold and need to get other task done, I can move around with my hands free. ...

Functional Office Phone

I have used the phone system with 2 extensions approximately 4 years. I bought it for my home office so that I would not have to have jacks in all areas and could page one another. I like the features on the base unit. Some of the functions ...

Base unit quality is good. The answering system, range and caller ID system are great.

Cordless sets not reliable, life is about 2 years. Features worked off and on.

Excellent small business/professional phone.

Operating a small business or professional office and trying to find the ideal phone system is quite a chore. Custom phone system providers tend to offer products that are either outdated or don't offer the option for mobility within an office setting....

decent home office product

Having lived with a Siemens 2400 system for far too long I finally gave up as they offered no incentive for me to try their new 8800 system even after acknowledging the previous system is/was a dog. So after researching and ebaying I found this system...

Works well, easy to use, solid build

Other than what's noted above just plain too much money for what you get

Quality good, features bad (not for the home)

I'm kind of disappointed this expensive phone system. I used to have a Siemen's phone system, but the sound started to degrade after a few years, so I switched to this more expensive Panasonic system. The phone has a nice feeling to it. I like ...

Sound Quality, Handset Distance, NiMH batteries

Directory/Caller-ID, transfering, remotes "Stand Alone", no mute button

PanaSonic KX-TG2000B

I had a Seimens unit prior to this. The Panasonic outperformed the Seimens unit in every way. I was able to get as much as 200 ft. away from the base unit before static started to come into play. Had some problems using the unit with the D-Link...

Best phone system for a family

I have a home office and three kids (11, 13 and 15 years old) and this phone system is awesome! We've been using it for about 9 months now. The kids phones are set to not ring when the business line rings so they don't answer my business calls. I...

Easy to use, no phone wiring necessary for each handset

When a ringer is set to "off" you cannot page it

I have had the Panasonic 2 line system since last November and I really enjoy its feautres. Even some companies fail to offer the features of this phone. Here is my own review from personal everyday use. I won't explain the answering machine in detail...

Product Specifications

The KX-TG2000B is a full telephone system capability on 2 separate telephone lines. The base master unit and each cordless handset communicate in both directions using Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) Digital transmission for secure, ultra clear conversations. Up to 8 cordless handsets can be used in this system offering many PBX functions without wiring as in conventional small telephone systems. The KX-TG2000B base unit houses an all-digital voice mail system that provides one general delivery mailbox and up to 8 personal mailboxes, with a total recording time of 100 minutes. Each mailbox has its own individual greeting and can be accessed from any of the cordless handset stations. Incoming calls to the KX-TG2000B are efficiently handled with the auto attendant feature, which answers incoming calls and then routes the callers to the base unit or the desired handset, Voice prompts and time/date stamps, like those featured on larger business phone systems, make the KX-TG2000B's voice mail easy to use for callers and users alike. The KX-TG2000B allows 4 handsets to access voice mail at the same time or the base unit and 3 handsets at the same time. This system can also allow two handsets to make outside calls while two additional handsets access voice mail. Many other cordless phone systems answering devices permit only one "voice path", so that a second line trying to access voice mail would get a busy signal.
