good phones

These phone have been a good buy so far. They are the only phones in this price range that have voice mail features, which is why I bought these over some other phones.

Good value for cost. Voicemail indicator and Call waiting caller id are nice features for the cost. Speaker phone is handy too

A little too small, including buttons. Because of small size, have trouble cradling phone between head and shoulders while writing or doing other things with hands. But I just use speaker phone if I need my hands free

Panasonic KX-TG2422W 2.4 GHz Digital FHSS 2X Handsets Cordless Phone

Bought these for my 2 oldest kids. Very well made and both kids were thrilled at getting a non-cheapo phone. A steal, considering you are getting two quality phones. Panasonic makes the best phones IMHO. Nothing else I've ever owned lasted more than a...

Product Specifications

2.4 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum Technology. That's a mouthful, but what does it mean? Panasonic technology "hops" constantly through a range of available channels to reduce interference and to provide improved security against eavesdropping. And since it is all digital technology, you get long range and incredible clarity. What's better than one 2.4 GHz phone? Two Panasonic 2.4 GHz phones! With these 2-in-1 bundle systems you get 1 base unit, 1 charger and 2 handsets. And just like PAnasonic's expandable systems you only need one phone jack to operate both handsets! Plus, the bundle phones use Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology to ensure great sound, incredible clarity, long range and excellent security from eavesdropping. Panasonic has found a way to shorten the handset antenna while still maintaining the long range that company's customers have become accustomed to. But what's even cooler is that the base of the antenna - which lights up - will alert you to an incoming call (or a message waiting for you). The light-up indicator will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message in your voice mailbox. So turn off the ringer, let the kids sleep, and never miss a call. Having a handset speakerphone may not seem like such a big deal-until you have to call an automated phone system. By the time you press "2" and return the phone to your ear, you missed half the next option! And when they put you on hold for ten minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just listen along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa listen to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk. See who's calling, even if you're already on the phone. Then there's call waiting, a beep letting you know there's another call coming in. But until now, you wouldn't know who was beeping in unless you answered it. With Call Waiting Caller ID2 when you get a beep, you can see who's calling before you answer.
