a great device

It works with our Magic Jack now we only need to plug into one phone line (our computer) to have three phones around the house. intercome is great you can select the phone you wish to comunicate with by simply selecting the # 1,2,or 3. Now we have a...

voice caller ID doesn't announce until @ 3 rings which is unfortunate because Magic Jack is programmed to record calls after 4 rings

Worst cordless phone EVER!!

I have used panasonic phones since the mid 90's, and this was the first time they ever disappointed.

Cannot keep a connection to the base. Will have a full charge and then out of nowhere the batteries will be completely dead. This happens on all 3 handsets

The only reason I haven't thrown these out is because we rarely use home phones anymore. Thank Goodness for cell phones!

These phones make weight loss easy and fun! When the phone rings, run from room to room and try to find one that actually works before you miss the call (even though all 3 phones have been connected to their base and charging overnight). In all...

Everything -Panasonic should be ashamed of themselves

Bad phone

First time I ever had a bad product from Panasonic.

Keep having problems. Replacing batteries helped for a while, but I am having problems again. Only 2 years old, but I think I will replace at this point

Giving up

They worked OK for about six months and then got progressively worse.

Lots of phones

Constantly needs re-connection to base unit. Calls constantly drop as screen either goes blank or requires reconnection. So frustrating I just took them outside and blasted them with my 12 gauge

Great Product

I have Panasonic 5.8 GHz cordless phone for 5 years and it still works. This one is somewhat improvement. Hand sets hold charge very well. Sound is clearer. Connection is good. Night mode and back lit is a plus. AAA batteries is a great idea

It has been at least five years and the phone still only hold 50 numbers. My old phone hold 50 numbers in each handset so I can practically store 100 numbers. The new phone has a 'shared' phone book so I can only store less numbers. It is long long...

Updated review

It became too frustrating with calls constantly and suddenly being dropped. I've just ordered new AT&T phones that have excellent newegg consumer reviews. These panasonics lasted for about a year before giving me problems, now every day is torture...

Look nice, light weight but feel pretty solid, good volume when working

Rechargeable batteries died on ALL three units and only hold a charge for minutes. They are AAA which you would think should be convenient...but only if you can find replacement batteries that worked. Not so

Not bad

Decent for the price, but can be annoying when calls are dropped.

Light weight, attractive, good volume, good reception

Poor battery life; often drops calls; sometimes the line goes dead and the phone takes a minute to recycle before you can make another call

These phones are defective

These phones are absolutely defective, since I barely use a home phone it took me a while to realize but they absolutely fail to hold charges and cut off constantly.

Would be excellent if they worked properly

Phone cuts off, doesn't hold a proper charge even with new batteries

Product Specifications

DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. It also assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring - or not - at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID information is announced between rings. Panasonic's KX-TG9300 series DECT phones also boast a talking alarm clock that will tell you when it's time for lunch, and a talking battery alert that politely tells you when your battery is low with a "please charge phone" reminder. Store the Caller ID info of any and all unwanted callers into your phone's Call Block list so that you can eliminate future pesky calls. After the information is stored, those unwanted callers will receive a busy signal when they call you again. Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator with Ringer Alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. So turn off the ringer and never miss a call.
