Can't go wrong here

We've had this phone for 2 1/2 years now, and have been extremely happy with it - - great range, clear sound, and good construction. Unlike other reviewers, I rather like the caller ID display placement (on the back of the phone) - - it leaves the...

Idea of Phone is Better Than Reality

We purchased this phone in the summer to replace the one on the main floor of our home. It has now been banished to our basement study - the area of our home where the phone gets the least use. A friend had recommended the phone so I didn't do my usual...

Goodbye, Friend!

I learned the hard way a long time ago about cheap telephones. I have been through them all - Motorola, Southwestern Bell, AT&T, Uniden, etc. Some people, like my sister (who went through FOUR cordless phones last year alone!), are still learning. ...

Great Phone, Great Value

After weeks of chasing down phones with enough charge in them to allow me to talk for more than 10 minutes I started my research. I didn't care how much money I had to pay at the time, I just wanted a phone that wouldn't hang up on the caller when the...

Product Specifications

Panasonic - a name that is synonymous with innovation and quality - leads the revolution in cordless phone technology to provide outstanding performance, convenience, and style. When it comes to your communication needs, Panasonic is dedicated to creating a phone that makes communicating easier. The Panasonic KX-TC1701 cordless phone operates in 900 MHz to extend range over traditional 43-49 MHz phones and to eliminate interference from the most common sources for virtually flawless transmission and reception. Call Waiting Caller ID lets you see the name and number of an incoming caller, even while you're on another call. The handset's 3-line backlit LCD display shows caller ID data without scrolling. The backlit LCD display is also easy to read in the dark. Up to 50 names and numbers can be stored in memory for easy retrieval and direct callback. 10-Station Speed Dialing lets you store ten 21-digit phone numbers for easy dialing. Long-life batteries and power-conserving circuitry help the phones operate up to 21 days in standby and offer up to eight hours of talk time. However, when the power does run low, Panasonic's Ultra Charge feature will come to the rescue, recharging their batteries in only four hours.
