The handset's LCD also provides users with easy access to phone numbers saved in the telephone's Caller ID memory with instant callback capability. Each cordless handset has a memory capacity for 30 names and numbers. Handset LCDs also show "line in use, " and display other icons for system status. These new expandable multi-handset systems can also save your most-frequently dialed phone numbers in an alphabetical directory. Both systems feature a 30-station phone directory with dialer on each handset. A convenient navigator key allows users to easily scroll through information saved in the phone's directories and Caller ID Memory, set the handset and ringer volume, or program the telephone for other functions. Each handset also features a speakerphone, a lighted keypad, belt clip and headset jack for connection to headsets equipped with a 2.5mm connection jack.Step-up model KX-TG2382B has a built-in, all-digital answering machine with 15-minute recording time for incoming and outgoing messages. The system is highlighted by advanced messaging features such as remote message and mailbox access from any handset, full voice prompts, and time with date stamps for each message recorded.
