works well but handle carefully

Range is good, voice quality is excellent, nice color display

Handle it carefully. Like most other Panasonic phones, it has that cheesy gray (excuse me - silver) paint that scratches easily and makes a new piece look five years old

Love these phones!

This is the 3rd set of phone I have bought from Panasonic and I like them all. This last one though is the best. The color screen is just great. Newegg excellent as always

Great Phone System

Love the fact thank you can keep yourphone diretory in the computer, make changes, and easily download to all phones.

Wish the phone directory could hold more than 50 names/numbers.

Panasonic KX-TG5776S

Excellent colour display telephone.

The only problem is that the unit doesn't come with a wall mounting bracket.

Really good cordless phone from Panasonic - it works as good as it looks. Highly recommended.

Great reception, clarity, range; sounds just about like a corded phone. Sleek and sexy looking; wallpaper stays dimmed but visible while on base. No antenna bud on handset - a nice look. Easy to hold. Good speakerphone on base and handset. Decent...

Volume control uses joystick; no control on handset side, like other phones. Doesn't come with belt clip; that's an additional purchase

I love talking Caller ID!

I had an older Panasonic cordless phone that I was having problems with. It would sometimes cut out, as cell phones do, when in the middle of a conversation, only to correct itself in a few seconds. I purchased this newer, more expensive phone with an ...

Do Not Buy This Unit

Cute, but....

Breaks down when practically new. Lousy, lackluster Customer Service

Product Specifications

You can put handsets all over your house-in your kid's rooms or even in the garage-without all the messy wiring or complicated setup. With Panasonic 5.8 GHz expandable phone system, you don't need a phone jack for each additional handset-just one for the base unit. So start expanding and forget about all your wiring worries. The 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum technology operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology while maintaining the great security, incredible clarity and long range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi. The backlit 1.5" LCD on the handset is displayed in full-color for amazing clarity and a personalized phone experience. You can personalize your phone's display using any of the preset wallpaper images, or download images via the USB port. Picture ID allows you to associate caller ID information with unique display images when your friends or family call you. The large lighted handset display uses color icons for easy navigation of the phone's features. With Talking Caller ID, you don't have to get up to see who's calling - the phone will tell you. Panasonic cordless phones are the only cordless phones to incorporate true text-to-speech technology used in conjunction with your Caller ID service. There's no need for preprogramming or any fancy setup - as long as you have Caller ID service, just plug-and-play! Now you won't be interrupted by strange calls when you're washing the dishes, eating dinner or just watching TV. Let the phone tell you who's calling, so you can decide if you want to answer it or not. This expandable phone system lets you upload unlimited free recordings of your favorite songs or sounds that you can set as your telephone ringer. All you need is the included audio cable and the music or sounds. Maximum recording time is 2 minutes. This phone system is equipped with an all-digital answering system for quick, easy retrieval of crystal-clear messages. Message operation has never been easier, with up to 21 minutes of recording time, plus such features as pre-recorded outgoing message, remote operation, Tollsaver, and skip-and-repeat. And don't worry about losing your messages when the power goes out-they're stored in flash memory so they're unaffected by power failure or interruptions. Having a handset speakerphone may not seem like such a big deal - until you have to call an automated phone system. By the time you press "2" and return the phone to your ear, you missed half the next option! And when they put you on hold for ten minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just listen along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa listen to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.
