I got this as a replacement for an older Panasonic telephone which I was quite happy with - this new phone is really great - just what I wanted - 2 phones with one phone connection plus answering machine.

Got this phone to supplement existing panasonic phone (excessive talking!). The talking caller-id is especially helpful to filter out tele-marketers during dinner time. The handset speaker volume is moderate only at the highest setting.

I like the gray/black understated color and design, it is very nice. This phone sounds better than other panasonic sets (I'm on my 5th set of cordless, for various phone lines at 2 houses) costing me twice as much. Worked right away, no quality issues...

The handsets are very lightweight.. wish they had a little more weight to them
