We had a pair of these bought as a set. I foolishly allowed handset no. 2 to run the battery all the way down before recharging - and I did so a number of times. After that it wouldn't hold a charge for long. Finally replaced it with this new handset....

Works fine within a fairly remote range, has a good set of features (though other additional features are not often used), is a good deal.

This phone is useless due to the fact that it constantly does not have a signal. You can be directly next to the base and no signal. It is always fully charged.

While putting a multi piece NewEgg purchase together I missed part about this being an expansion headset unit and requiring a base unit.

Love the ringers, could just listen to tune of ringer. Or change it. When it rings you don't jump out of your shin.

Since I already have several of these phone system, I am limited as to what I can actually buy without buying a whole new system. Phones tend to dye after 6 or 8 months and it is cheaper to buy another phone than to buy a whole new system.
