To get the telephone number of incoming calls that aren't in your phone list you have to hit the * key. That is a bit of a 'con' too.

Overly bright back-light. With the back-light on, the display becomes dark blue letters on a bright blue display. Not the easiest to read. If you have good lighting in the room, the display is easier to read without the backlight. No brightness adjustment...

I switched to a Panasonic model: KX-TG6051M and am in love with it. The talking CID feature is great. If your a feature hound, then buy the Panasonic.

Looks cool, but looks can be deceiving. Nice speakerphone

Battery life, and charging function is very sketchy or at least the unit I purchased had bad batteries that wouldn' hold a charge properly. Also, unless you have a number stored into your phonebook, you can't view it as a missed call under your CID. Bumme...
