Unusable with a Headset

I SO wanted to like this phone, but... I bought this for business use, and am on the phone a lot. Typically, I use a plug in headset but after switching to this phone, callers said they were having a hard time hearing me. I bought a new headset...

Price. Looks great. Two lines. Lots of useful features. Speakerphone sound is good on the base and handset. Standard NIMH batteries and good battery life

Sound quality poor compared to other DECT 6.0 phones. Display seems very low-resolution, maybe due to the age of this model

Nice

Both of my incoming lines ring simultaneously because of my phone service. I have the phone set to pick up line 2 as default...no problem. I was getting cross talk between line 1 & 2 when ring voltage was present. Found out my VOIP adapter, PAP2T...

Provides the flexibility I need having 2 incoming lines. Some reviewers that talk of echo or cave like audio...I found it best to turn off the XtraHighDefinition Audio. It sounds normal to me with it off. Battery lasts several days off the charger....

I can understand other reviewers knocking the phone. It takes a bit to get used to. However, it is a 2 line phone, so, yes, you often need to pick which line to use. Yes, the caller ID comes up slow, but doesn't bother me. Because both my lines ring...

Very good phone

Having to choose between line 1 or line 2 is natural for a two line phone. However, if you are using it with a single line and calling from the handset, you can press twice the TALK button as a shortcut to go straight to the active line. When calling...

Two-line capability. Outstanding range and crystal clear voice quality, even in speakerphone mode. Standard AAA rechargeable batteries. Stylish European design. Intercom function between base and handsets. Inexpensive but still good build quality....

Great two-line phone

Try to find the package that includes additional handsets, they are not easily available separately, at least in Canada. This model is not available in Canada according to Philip's website, however I had no problems registering this product in my...

I own the answering machine plus one additional handset ; 1) 2-lines!! Separate VM messages and queues per line ; 2) Headphone jack - I have a standard wired Jabra headphone that works seamlessly with the headset ; 3) Speakerphone - at the base and...

1) No blue-tooth sync like other brands ; 2) Not a con, but as manual says, you do need to wait for 3 full charge cycles before achieving the expected battery normal use/standby time ; 3) Response from buttons seem a bit slow when opening the call...

This phone does more than it cost.

Love the speaker phone on the cordless. It's crystal clear. Some obnoxious, loud types will tell you the volume is too low. It's only more pilot error.

Small, smart, excellent clean sound. Can;t beat the price. Use the cordless and base simultaneously on separate lines. Outstanding range with no drops. Speaker phone on both units. AAA NiCad batteries are easily replaceable

Volatile memory. It should have non-volatile memory. One power loss and you have to reprogram all your numbers ; When your mommy doesn't place your cordless in the charger, you must wait to look cool talking on the phone. When you drop your cordless,...

Absolute beauty

I have been using this for about a month now, though extensively. Thoroughly enjoyed using it. Had a real good time with it until now. One of the beauty is that, if you mute the handset volume, it automatically goes to the voice mail. I found it useful...

They could have done away with choosing line1 or line2 if only one line connected or active. This requires a additional key pressing everytime you initiate a call. Those who have 2 lines will find this as a unique feature

Terrible Phones. Utter Junk.

After trying several completely different models of Philips brand cordless phones, I have to say they are the worst phones ever. Philips ended up sending me several replacement models, each with numerous handsets. Every one was terrible. No wonder...

None. Absoloutely NONE

I have tried several models of cordless phones from Philips. They were all absoloutely terrible ; Sound quality, which was supposed to be a highlight of the phone, was actually very poor and gave voices an unnatural sound. There was also a problem with...
