Not Impressed

About 18 months ago, I purchased one of these units with an additional handset since I became tired of seeing wires running along the baseboards of my house. I love the idea -one phone jack! After about six months, we began to have issues with the p ...

Better than most phones with flaws

My parents had purchased an earlier model of the same phone in 1998. They were looking for a cordless phone with multiple handsets available because we had only one phone jack for most of the whole house. That Siemens cordless phone lasted two years...

Buy the toaster you always wanted instead

Unlike many of the people who have waited to buy this amazing piece of junk for around $50 I was smitten by it 2 years ago and dropped $160 or so. Would that I have spent that money on Scotch or Whiskey I'd be better off.

Approach with trepidation

I was recently looking for a combination home office phone/answering machine. I bought the Siemens 4215 (more on this phone in another review) and saw that they had the 2010 for 150$ CDN. I bought the 2010 for home use, as I liked the look.

Well worth it!

Take all of the good features of a cell phone combine them with all the good features of a corded phone, and you end up with Siemen's 2410 Gigaset. The sound quality is ideal, there is no floppy antenna to bug you, and the jack for the headset...

not worth the money

We tried this new phone in hopes that it would be a good choice. The small handset and sleek look caught our attention. Unfortunately that's the only few good features of this phone. The feedback and poor sound quality were immediately noticeable....

Product Specifications

Can't be everywhere at once? The Gigaset 2410 is the home phone system that helps manage your household's active lifestyle. This fully featured cordless phone system delivers all the functionality your active household needs to stay connected without being tied down. With its advanced digital technology and 2.4GHz operation, you'll get breakthrough voice clarity and enhanced security, plus the exceptional ability to support up to four cordless handsets with just one phone jack! If your home requires multiple cordless phones, the expandability of the Gigaset 2410 is ideal. The system gives you all the cordless convenience you need - plus a lot more. Start with the base unit and one cordless handset, then add handsets one at a time to build the system you need. With two or more Gigaset handsets, you can make handset-to-handset intercom calls even when the outside phone line is in use. Plus, since everything works together, you'll get convenient cordless access to all system features (such as Caller ID/Call Waiting ID and call log) from any Gigaset handset. Gigaset cordless handsets work together and all four may be used at once. For example, while you and another user converse together with someone on an outside line, two others can intercom each other on their handsets - at the same time. All users can access and share advanced system features. In addition, every handset can be customized with its own ring tones, personalized directory, extension name and number. Headset jacks for hands-free use and internal antennas for better protection from damage make the handsets even more convenient. You can start using your 2410 in a matter of minutes. Just connect the base to a phone jack and power. Place additional handsets wherever convenient without the hassle or expense of additional phone jacks or wiring! User-friendly displays and menus make customizing system options and accessing features a snap. Siemens has combined several advanced technologies into one revolutionary cordless phone system. The result? Breakthrough cordless sound quality, effective protection from eavesdropping, and an expandable system that allows you to add cordless handsets as you need them. The Siemens Gigaset 2410. It's the only cordless phone your household will ever need.
