Great Phones - Ridiculous Batteries

Overall a pretty good phone for $60 and expansion handsets for around $30 to $35 each. I really wish they had leveraged a different battery format because the ones that this phone requires are completely manure.

Very clear sounds quality; easy to dial button layout; comfortable shape, weight, etc. Each handset includes a plastic belt clip that doubles as a comfortable shoulder/neck support when you need to hold the phone between your ear and shoulder so both...

I've had these phones for about four years and I literally have to throw the rechargable battery pack away once per year and buy new batteries. Almost like clockwork, at 12 months, the battery will hold a charge for about 5 minutes then say the handset...

1 for broadband phone service

I don't think i've ever seen a phone with the option of adding your own backgrounds and ringers before, might not be necessary, but it's pretty cool to have!

This phone is the best for broadband phone service such as Vonage. It expands to up to 10 handsets which don't have to be plugged directly into a phone jack ; The setup was quick and easy, and adding handsets was a breeze! I'd recommend this product to...

Had to manually find the driver in the setup... don't know if it was just my computer or not

I bought a CLX485 phone a year and a half ago. It died completely. After spending many hours, several weeks and $60 to the phone company, I found that the phone had died completely. Uniden will NOT repair it. If it is out of warranty, they will not ...
