The sound quality is the main issue with this phone. It is not always clear and can sound hollow. This was however the cheapest 2 line cordless phone around (all others around twice as much). Might spend more next time.

Excellent voice quality and built. Good phone w all features, except does not have a speakerphone function on the handset (only on the base unit). Hence 4 stars.
