Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected

The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected costs as much as trip to the dentist, but it's the best smart toothbrush you can buy.

Useful app with guided brushing. Soft bristles. Built-in timer. Comfortable grip. Multiple brushing modes. Good battery life.

Expensive. Potential to get connected phone or tablet wet.

Performance and Conclusions I used the FlexCare Platinum Connected for a week. It works similarly to the Kolibree and the Sonicare for Kids. With your free hand, you hold your smartphone and follow a 2D or 3D representation of your teeth that...

Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected toothbrush tells you of the spots you missed

Not all toothbrushes are created equal, that is for sure. After all, how many of us actually bother that those everyday toothbrushes that we use have some sort of electrical capability, apart from its rotating head? Philips Sonicare has certainly upped...

What makes this particular toothbrush extra special? For starters, this is the very first power toothbrush launched in the US that will boast of location sensors, allowing it to inform users should they have missed a spot while brushing, now how about...

Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected is a 'smart' electric toothbrush that's on the expensive side. It's packed with features and promises to give you more data than you ever knew you needed about your dental health and brushing routine -...

Sizzle

It'd be nice if they offered these in black like the do the diamondcare. Frankly, the more expensive diamondcare has far fewer features and is an inferior toothbrush to this one.

Nice design; good button layout; nice features; great included brush heads

Case feels outdated compared to the USB based DiamondCare. Same goes for the brush itself

Fantastic

You might find it "expensive", but buy it and you'll save lots money at the dentist. One 2-minute brushing with this brush is probably the equivalent of 20 manual brushings.

Does a far better job cleaning teeth and massaging gums than my previous Braun. 3 speeds + 3 different modes Modes and speeds are easily identifiable via lights on the device. Seems to hold its full charge with minimal charging.

Travel case is a bit large. Brushes are expensive. The "whiten" mode is silly - a brush can't whiten teeth on its own.

Great Toothbrush

So I purchased the Philips Sonicare as a replacement for a Braun product. I'd been wanting to see what the difference between the products was and this was my opportunity. Overall, I'd say the Sonicare gives a better cleaning and has also whitened my...
