Great oscilliating toothbrush

Philips Sonicare Xtreme 3000 Battery Sonic Toothbrush works great. I tested over the last few days and I have been very happy with the toothbrushes performance. The toothbrush was not too strong or abrasive. This toothbrush came with Two AA batteries...

Issues with ears.

Maybe it was just the unit we had was vibrating at the wrong frequency or something, but I'm not willing to risk it causing me permanent hearing damage.

Cleans your teeth better than any manual or electric on the market.

After about a week of using this brush I began to notice a "wooshing" sound in my right ear. After a month it had progressed to pretty much full blown tinnitus. It took me a while to realize the correlation between the sonic toothbrush and when I began...

Takes some initial getting used to... but feels check-up clean!

Not sure how much replacement brush heads are... but seems pretty good so far!

- Teeth feel check-up clean after using. - Built-in 2 minute timer is super convenient. - Runs on 2 AA batteries (supplied).

None so far!

poorly designed

theoretically a great design, to be able to use AA batteries

the battery cover is fundamentally flawed. It becomes impossible to snap it back on all the way, which then allows water to get inside the battery compartment. I've gone through two of these units and am now going to switch to a new brand. why can't...

Philips Sonicare Xtreme 3000 Battery Sonic Toothbrush

I've seen on other sites that some people use petroleum jelly or dielectric grease to keep the battery compartment sealed. I am going to try that on my next one.

Great price to get a Sonicare toothbrush. It seems to work very well.

Water gets in the battery compartment like others have said. This causes the batteries to corrode and leak. The e Series brush heads are more expensive than other brush heads.

Great toothbrush

I wonder how much better the upper end of the Sonic toothbrush is. I can't imagine it would be 3 times better since this is a GOOD brush (I say 3 times because that is about how much more it costs). This is a grea brush and it looks and feels solid,...

You can feel the difference from the cheaper Colgate, Crest, etc value priced brushes. Works using magnetic field principle to vibrate the brush, no visible motor. Extremely reasonable price for a brush of this magnitude. Vibrates with a passion.

Well, not much to say here. The first few times you use it, it almost hurts a bit since it is somewhat aggressive. I've been using this for several weeks now and it doesnt bother one bit anymore. Another con is that you have to engage it when it is in...

Great while it lasts

Cleans your teeth and tongue very well.

They don't seem to last more than five or six months before going bad. I've been through two of them so far. I'm shopping now for something different.
