If mounted in a 5.25 bay, you may want to keep the cover(s) off or add some cooling for more acceptable temperatures, maybe a quietish 120mm fan in 3 bays or a pair of 40's in one.

Seemed to help a bit with noise and vibration.

So-so for cooling.

I like my PC's quiet and cool. This helps me meet those requirements.

Dropped HDD temps from 41C to 32C without any other changes. This is in a low airflow environment.
