Acer Aspire 5600U Review

The Acer Aspire 5600U is a slim and somewhat-sexy all-in-one. It features a 1.3-inch-thin chassis and a 23-inch display atop a clear-plastic base, giving the illusion that it's floating in air. Once you get past the aesthetics, however, you'll find...

Acer Aspire 5600U Review

A surprising entry into the all-in-one category.

Good performance, responsive touch interface, includes HDMI In, Windows 8 looks and performs exceptionally

Audio could have been better, bundled mouse feels a bit flimsy, unit can heat up quickly, OSD buttons can be a bit hard to reach

The Aspire 5600U performed fairly well in our suite of benchmarks, posting decent scores in both PCMark and 3DMark for its features specs. Framerates during some of the 3D tests were acceptable, with the lowest being 27fps during one of the animation...

Acer Aspire 5600U review

Sitting at the low end of the price range, Acer's Aspire 5600U is a pleasantly stylish 23in all-in-one with some great features.

This is a good-looking all-in-one at a sub-£1000 price, but it’s noticeably slow and the nVidia graphics aren’t enough to elevate gaming performance to truly playable levels. It offers a large bundle of pre-installed software and comes with good...

Acer Aspire A5600 U review

This PC looks great and can play games, but you can get faster computers for less

The Acer Aspire A5600 U is a beautifully designed all-in-one PC, but at its current price it can't compete with its more powerful competition. It might not be as attractive, but the

Distinctive design and reasonable performance; misses out on an award by a whisker

The Acer makes a good first impression, and in many ways it’s a fine all-in-one. However, its main rival – the Asus ET2300 – costs almost £200 less and is better in most areas. Ultimately, that’s the machine we recommend you buy.

Clear and crisp graphics

Slower than the three year old Packard Bell all-in-one that we replaced with the Acer product. Tends to hang up for quite long periods

fantastic screen & ease of setup connection with router & printer

lack of reasonable instruction book - not a complete book but a bit better than just 1 sheet when you spend this amount - I know it's on the computer but it's not the same.I hope windows 8 gets easier
