Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 budget desktop has enough features to keep basic PC users satisfied, throws in Wi-Fi capability, and offers enough expansion room for future upgrades.

Nice price. 8GB of memory. 5GHz Wi-Fi support. Good connectivity. Solid performance numbers. Storage tray

Lots of bloatware. The 300-watt power supply limits upgrades

The Acer Aspire ATC-605-UB11 ($599 as tested) is a solid budget desktop computer with a speedy fourth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory, a bit of room for expansion, and it comes with Wi-Fi (a relative rarity in budget tower PCs). It...

Decent Computer

There are only 5 USB ports in total on this computer. There are no USB 3.0 on the back which is not terrible but it is something to note if you are looking at this computer (odd as most come with at least 2 on the back). Asus also splits the HDD into 2...

Very fast computer for the price. Asus normally puts together a decent computer and you don't have to worry about quality

It says in the specification that there are 4 usb 2.0 ports on the back but there are only 3. Only 2 USB 3.0 and on the front none on the back. You can always put in a USB card in the only PCI-E port

Funky Windows Install

I did in fact achieve what I wanted to do by doing a clean install of 7 PRO to the Kingston V300 SSD using the COA on the tower and installing all the divers from Acer's site followed by all windows updates. Then the windows Image went flawlessly to...

Good PC the way it ships. One egg for that

Okay for years I have purchased a PC, cloned the OS to a SSD and formatted the drive it came with for creation of Windows Backup with System Image. Forget that on this Model, will not let clone happen unless though DOS Boot. Then if you do manage to...

Decent machine, not great for aftermarket additions

We purchased 3 for our office. So far I have been satisfied. We added an additional SSD drive and copied the OS over to that. When hooking things up the space for the SSD was above the original HDD but the power connectors would not reach so I had to...

Great specs. Good price. So far the three we purchased have been reliable machines

Case seems a bit on the lower quality side but makes sense for the price. Power cables too short to add a second hard drive

I bought this for my aunts new home computer. originally I was going to add a ssd for the os and use the existing HDD as the slave. little did I know this computer does not support the extra hard drive. it refuses to let me into the boot menu and only...

Great Computer for the Price

Great computer for the money, obviously not the best computer out there, but is a good entry level gaming pc.

This computer is, in my opinion the best computer available for under $700. I have used this computer for about a week and i have done various tests, all of them were very successful. I have tried to get this computer to stutter and lag and i have been...

The only cons so far is the graphics card. It is a 620, which is on the low end. It can run games but just not as smooth as the higher end Nvidia's. But if it proves to be that big of an issuse, you can just upgrade it because the rest of the specs are...

Great PC

Would recommend this PC for anyone needing a fast Home, Home based business or business workstation.

Great PC for the price. Purchased as a businesses workstation to replace an older Windows Vista PC. This computer was much faster. Network folders and applications opened almost immediately which was a great surprise
