Acer Liquid E700 Trio review: three SIM’s the charm

Myolisi reviews the three-SIM Acer Liquid E700 Trio and find that it's more three phones in one than one phone in three.

The Acer Liquid E700 Trio retails for a good, worthy price and its camera capabilities are a big plus. The triple SIM support is great for those swapping between networks and the battery life is astonishingly long. It’s a pity that the screen is its...

Expert Review

The E700's limited DirectX 10 gaming capabilities and constrained upgradeability put a damper on what is otherwise a well-priced, reasonably quick machine that can tackle apps and older games.

Fast DirectX 9 performance, solid app machine

Noisy hard drives, doesn’t make the DirectX 10- gaming cut

Overall, the Aspire is definitely worth considering. It performed adequately in our tests, it's user-friendly, it comes with a big monitor and it looks good. It's great value, despite its poor graphics card, but this component can easily be replaced...

Ships with a 24in LCD monitor, has a 400GB hard drive, ships with cordless input peripherals, the case has some room for expansion

The graphics card exhibited artefacts on some open windows

Acer Aspire E700 Model S

Although it's less likely to appeal to lounge room users, where the media centre is the primary function, the Acer Aspire E700 Model S should appeal t...

CPU heatsink, wireless USB adapter, tool-less upgrading

300-watt power supply, only has single digital TV tuner

The Acer Aspire E700 Model S manages to work on both levels, as a PC and as a media centre. It has some upgrade potential, but the configuration we tested will easily handle a wide variety of functions.

Acer Aspire E700 MMX1

The Acer Aspire E700 MMX1 is a respectable but not groundbreaking machine. While we've seen other machines that have managed better results for the price, we've not seen one in such a well designed package.

Well designed and engineered ; Peripherals have excellent useability ; Good selection of I/O ports and slots

Graphics performance is unspectacular ; Monitor not included in price

Not bad

This product works ok. Not as clear as Pitney's ink. Also, you can only run about 10 envelopes at a time before it starts fading/skipping. Then you have to wait until it re-inks itself. It works in a pinch, but prefer Pitneys.

Not too happy. Ink is too light

After replacing with a new cartridge the postage meter keeps showing change ink cartridge. The print on the cartridge is too light. The one from the postage meter co. is very dark. Next time would not buy.

Easy to Use

Ink too light

Disappearing Ink

This particular ink does not last very long. If I get 30 pcs of mail stamped, that's a lot.
