Acer Aspire L310

The majority of users don't need reality-bending 3D graphics or the drive space to store e-copies of everything in the Library of Congress. Styling, compatibility, usability, and convenience are much more important to them, and the Acer Aspire L310...

Compact. Fairly loaded system. Minimal bloatware. Built-in Wi-Fi. Vista Home Premium including Aero support. Decent price for a Core 2 Duo powered system

System fans put out constant noise. External power brick. Only 90-day antivirus subscription. No TV tuner in tested configuration

A small-form-factor PC in the HP Slimline and Mac mini vein, the Acer Aspire L310 is one to consider for design mavens and the space-constrained user. It's got a lot going for it, but a couple of shortcomings keep it from being great.

Its good performance, small size, and reasonable price make the Aspire L310 a reasonable choice if you don't play games.

Good performance for productivity, media apps ; Compact ; Built-in Wi-Fi

No internal expansion ; Upgrading RAM requires replacing existing memory

Small, sleek and a great value

low cost for components, sleek and small system

slightly awkward power button, not designed for upgrading (neither truly cons for the system's purpose)
