Hardware good, ACER service awful

I wouldn't buy this again, but rather than remove all software and returning the computer, I've kept it and tried to use Microsoft posted suggestions to overcome problems about accessing folders.

fast, lots of USB connections, lots of storage

Windows 7 is an abomination; ACER service is awful--won't help with hardware problems

Worked ok for about 6 months

The power supply went out at about 6 months. Only one PS works with this motherboard and it is a REALLY CRAPPY PS. Called Acer support and they didn't want to send me another one. I pleaded, they sent it. Case closed.

Nice cheap i3 box...Continued

And yes, the aSampras EIH57MK mobo supports 4x4 DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) = 16GB When I temporarily re-purposed one AM3910-UR30P to run Windows 2008 Server R2 64-bit, the box became cranky: Random read/write disk problems. It's probably an incompatibility...

Read previous "Nice cheap i3 box ; Plays nicely with Linux

Not recommended for a lab/test installation of Windows 2008 Server R2 64-bit ; LGA 1155 is a depreciated "dead socket," so there is a limited CPU upgrade path

Acer AM3910-UR10P (PT.SDXP2.002)

Running smooth so far

A bit short on RAM but I knew about that and bought extra at the same time. Graphics isn't greatest but Shouldn't be to hard to upgrade

Great little PC...

Chassis and MB make for an easily upgraded system. another 200-300 bucks and this thing would kill many 1000 dollar gaming rigs!!!

Performing well above my initial expectations! When my wife fried her gaming laptop, I needed a quick fix so she could at least surf the net until I could put together a new gaming rig for her. Never expected this 400 dollar unit to be able to run...

None at this point. It's definitely not top of the line but if that's what you wanted you wouldn't be looking at this review of a 400 PC

Good for the price

See the first paragraph about Acer's support, because it's important if you're buying this PC to replace another PC. If something comes faulty, expect to have no PC for another month if you want the part replaced under the warranty. It's insane.

Decent computer for the price. Certainly not a gaming computer or anything like that, however the average user will have no issues with this computer, outside of the memory (which should be upgraded). Good sized harddrive as well, and the graphics card...

Hope you don't run into issues with the hardware. Mine came with a faulty memory stick, and the company INSISTS that I MUST send in the entire PC to get the memory stick fixed (Which has already been replaced and the PC has been running for over a week...

More than a decent PC

I added 8GB of G skill ram(MAX), 2GB per slot, I will never need it but for the price why not? Had an old GT 440 laying around and added that too. My WEI 6.9, 7.0, 6.7, 6.7, 5.9 very good IMO This can definitely become a mid to high end gaming PC...

Great CPU, power supply specs are decent for a stock 300 PSU

Nothing really

Great

Overall a great product and priced nice runs great right out of the box and as with every newegg item super fast shipping

Runs Great. Had some trouble getting it to set up...However that was my fault tried installing wrong ram. It ran but not properly

Only supports 8 GB even though there are 4 slots... It is only 2 GB per slot trust me it wont work if you do 4 Gb sticks

Wonderful

I'll be giving this thing it's full 8GB and a 1GB graphics card, see if that'll make it have space travel xD

Very fast computer, big improvement on what I had before. Even stock this computer will run a high-end game at mid graphics settings

Aside from the stock "welcome" programs acer includes, no con's so far
