If you are looking for a simple desktop that can handle basic use, the Acer M3970 is a good choice. Those who want to game, and those with hopes of one day building their desktop up to something more powerful, should look elsewhere.

The Acer Aspire AM3970-U5022 has an attractive design for a budget PC, and bears a fair price tag for its configuration.

Recent price drops on older systems mean that as of this review, you'll find competing PCs on the market in the same price range with better features.

Generous price cuts on higher-end systems give this Acer some competitive difficulty, but this system is still more affordable than most, and comes wrapped in a pleasing design.

"not a recommended brand to choose even it is cheap"

I bought Acer desktop and laptop before as the price is cheaper compared to other brands but my laptop had hard ware problem after one year warranty and quoted repair cost is higher than my purchased price of my laptop I rejected the repair quotation...

cheaper than other brands

short life span hardware failure after one year which is more expensive than purchased price

For the price? Everything about this system is awesome.

Great computer for everyday use.

Really nice and powerful computer for everyday use. I'm not a gamer, but it is super fast when it comes to music / pictures / web / etc. Opens movies really quickly, allows to work on multiple windows, etc.

Great Computer

This computer is quiet and fast. I have used it for three months without any problem. Having the HDMI connection is a plus. It is bigger than my old HP computer but I have enough space in the office so it is not a issue for me.
