Acer Aspire M5800-U5802A and eMachines EZ1601-01 Nettop

Besides HDMI, you also get a DVI and a VGA port. Additionally, you get FireWire, ten USB ports, headphone and microphone jacks, and more. There is no eSATA port available on the M5800-U5802A. But there is a card reader that supports several different...

Acer Aspire M5800-U5802A

With its powerful Core 2 Quad processor and 8GB of DDR3 RAM, the Acer Aspire M5800-U5802A is a powerful, good-looking all-around PC with a very reasonable price.

Excellent performance for the price; daring design; eminently upgradeable

A fair amount of bloatware; finicky optical drive eject button; no Blu-ray drive

There are definitely more powerful systems available, particularly those with Intel's unmatched Core i7 processors. But those systems cost several hundred dollars more, and for users other than professional video editors or extreme gamers, they don't...

"Best PC for casual gamers"

Great performance for the dollar and doesn't ...

Quadcore CPU is really fast

Some Acer bloatware, but definitely less than competing brands like HP

Awesome, with an upgraded Graphics Card

Awesome, with an upgraded Graphics Card

Upon purchasing this Desktop from [...] for 799 i was amazed at he specs, most high end machines don't even offer this much at Best Buy or Costco, at least not for this price. Most machines with all thats in this would cost well over 1000$ just for the...

still going strong (an update)

I admit, I love this computer. Handles the data-intensive Football Manager games without breaking a sweat, and is quicker on the boot up than my previous Acer.

Over 2 weeks in and no problems yet. Received my Windows 7 upgrade after about 10 days, had no trouble upgrading. Hooked up the included speakers on my old computer- not bad for casual usage while surfing the web, nothing great

Power button has already been hit 3 or 4 times by accident. That's about it. Slight delay from the time the disk tray is pressed to when it opens. Thing runs quiet...almost too quiet! Keep having to fight the urge to check and make sure the fan's still...

C'mon guys! This unit ain't that bad!

I throw everything and the kitchen sink at this unit with movie and video editing and I like it. Here are a couple points: The good: - Looks nice, - Lots of power, - Inexpensive (great value), - Better with the Windows 7 upgrade, - I was able to get...

Good machine specs but too many problems to recommend

Good machine specs but too many problems to recommend

Indeed, as per many reviews, this is a nicely appointed machine for the price. The case, while panned in some reviews, is very sturdy and fairly roomy with nice detail. The HD and other equipment are arranged well, though the location of usb ports on...

Read before returning

Have not had to deal with Acer support (but I also bought 9 Acer monitors at the same time. NOT A SINGLE DEAD/STUCK PIXEL!

bought 6 of these for a project. Love em! everyone of them shipped with a cable loose, but after that they were great

As long as you are prepared to open them when they arrive: you MUST reconnect the HD power cable ; You MUST re-seat the wifi-card ; Took 4 weeks for Acer to send me the free Win7 upgrade (not really bad for free)
