Difficult Hardware to upgrade

Note: Requires a HDMI to DVI adapter cable for a DVI only monitor. I had one and the HDMI port worked just fine for DVI.

Great little silent box to sit behind the TV, etc. I bought mine to be a squid proxy server to limit the kids internet access. Works great for that. Installed Centos6 Linux without a hitch, Ethernet and Video just worked

Difficult to upgrade hardware. Only comes with 2GB DDR3 and a regular HDD. Opening the case required a YouTube lookup and lots of plastic prying with a screwdriver. Broke some plastic retainer tabs in the process. Once the case was open, upgrading the...

Acer AR3700-U3002

Great little pc for streaming videos and as internet tv connection. Have used it everyday for over a year with no problems.Very quite and uses very little power, and being a off grid and solar powered home this is a little unit. Great value for the price

Only came with 2g of ram and locating the little doggle for the wireless keyboard was frustrating as the included instructions are not very clear

Decent HTPC with limitations

Hugely disappointed in the Flash issues, but otherwise a capable machine after some intervention from the end-user.

Whisper-quiet, sleek design that fits well into even the simplest entertainment centers with a minimum of wires and clutter ; Can handle most HD video easily ; Wireless kb/mouse is also simple and unobtrusive for you neat freaks ; Lots of ports...

Should really come with 4 GB RAM instead of 2. Upgrading is neither difficult nor expensive, however ; The internal Wi-Fi is incredibly weak. Hook it up wired or use a USB dongle ; Loaded with bloatware ; After extensive configuration attempts, this...

Not a bad little box

Got this nettop about a month ago and it has done everything I have wanted. It's no power house but for lite duty surfing and watching videos, word processing... it is great. Very small and quite.

Acer Revo R3700

It's very compact so it takes up less room on my small table space and also has les tangled cables to tngle up due to the keyboard and mouse being wireless

I have had Acer Reevoo only one week and can not find any faults at all

FANTASTIC Media Centre (XBMC/Ubuntu 10.10)

This machine is great, can play 1080p HD video no problem, with the hardware accelerated flash (the beta version obtained via the flash-aid add on in firefox) it can stream HD video no problem and with the iplayer plugin on xbmc it can stream iplayer...

Windows 7 Ultimate - No problem.

Not sure why another reviewer mentions Windows 7 Ultimate boot time problems. I installed W7U 64-bit and power-on to logon is about 20 seconds, logon to desktop about 5 seconds - so no problems whatsoever.

Great little media machine...

Had this for a few days now, running Windows 7 Ultimate x32 and using it as a little media machine below my TV.

A good little performer

First of all, I must say I appreciated the super-fast two-day delivery from ebuyer even though I ordered it on the free, 'within five day' service!
