Media Ctr PC teamed with a network cable card tuner?

I was hoping that you would have some sort of review about using this with an external cable card tuner and windows media center extender. I considering the HD Homerun cable card tuner.

Does what I need

I purchased this to connect 4 1TB hard drives for movies and music. It's slow, but does what I need. Its compact and easy to put together. I connected it to a projector and I have been showing movies on it.

Great for bedrooms, not so great as a home theater centerpiece

I purchased this unit to replace my PS3 as the centerpiece of my home theater experience. The description mentions it can playback Bluray in full HD and I wanted to free myself from the clunky PS3 interface.

Great for Home Theater system

8 months ago I cancelled my cable, as I was tired of paying over $80 a month for something I barely used. I bought this, routed the HDMI into my receiver (it is V1.3 handling both audio and video signal) and started streaming onto my bigscreen.

Difficult Hardware to upgrade

Note: Requires a HDMI to DVI adapter cable for a DVI only monitor. I had one and the HDMI port worked just fine for DVI.

Great little silent box to sit behind the TV, etc. I bought mine to be a squid proxy server to limit the kids internet access. Works great for that. Installed Centos6 Linux without a hitch, Ethernet and Video just worked
