We just received an early engineering sample of the Acer AspireRevo with the Nvidia ION platform. So far, the ION seems to do well in the AspireRevo, as Nvidia had claimed it would.

Still slow compared with desktop PCs. Occasional glitches. CUDA apps don't help ATI or Intel GPU, so they aren't directly comparable

The Acer AspireRevo shows that nettops aren't completely out of luck when you need to perform performance-oriented tasks.
