Acer eMachines EZ1601

Acer's attractive EZ1601 nettop indicates the way forward for desktop computing. An all-in-one machine that utilises the same little Atom processor found in netbooks to provide a more compact desktop experience it's the way of the future.

You’ll see a lot more of these nettops entering the market place soon. It’s a trend that might just give the humble PC a grip on its sliding market. The Acer eMachines EZ1601 is a very attractive machine that won’t look out of place in the smartest of...

Good

As reliable as anything else on the market. It's not the cheapest desktops around but it does offer good value for money. Works well, speedy and having used it for 6 months has been completely reliable. Never had a reason to call or ask for help. Works...

It's reliable just like any good computer brand products. Acer is one of the leading manufacturers of computers at the moment and it does the job. It has incorporated many of it's own partner programs onto the Window platform, some of which offers upto...

Those incorporated free trial programs such as Norton and McAfee virus and back-up programs get really annoying once the trial program is over constantly sending reminder pop-ups to offer and you will be bombarded with discount deals etc. Fan noise can...

Terrible

Waste of time and waste of money. Don't bother. This computer spends more time off than on and I would never buy another Acer ever.

Nothing, it is a piece of crap...freezes, crashes and now won't start up at all.

This computer is less than 8 months old and I was prepared to put up with the constant blue screens, the freezing and subsequent restarts but now it won't start up at all. I've been buying top of the line computers since 1986 and this would have to be...

Good

Got this unit as a replacement for a previous [stolen] slim mini tower PC. This is a smart looking unit that may not have all the grunt of some other machines in the price range, but short of buying a laptop + monitor + keyboard + mouse it is the most...
