Compact; light easy to travel with. Have taken it with me on all overseas trips and would feel quite lost without it now. Wxcellent value for money

The cursor jumps a bit so you need to keep an eye on what you have written

Great combination of memory cpu and disk for competitive price the i7 chip is fantastic

CD draw awkward ti use when standing in tower mode box shouldn't be laid flat which would make CD easier to use as that would obscure the ventilation vents

Acer Aspire X3990 PT.SGKE2.238

I was startled by how small this unit is. Very compact, takes up hardly any space. Quiet, fast, good specs and connectivity, I'm a digital artist using mostly PSP so a good graphics card was important to me. It seems excellent. Unobtrusive small black...

None that I can see as yet but have only had it a couple of weeks. The vertically placed DVD is a bit fiddly but not a problem.

Good build quality/reliability Great size - so much better having a small profile

CD drive door is in the way of the button to operate it. The tray to load the cd is primitive - would be better to have a fully internalised CD with just the slot showing - it woudl make a really good bit of kit great

Acer Aspire X3990

The good points are the size of this machine, it is alot smaller than i had first thought it would be. And once i get the hang of windows 7 then i am sure that it will exceed my expectations.

This is only a bad point for me, but as i am used to a base unit sitting on the floor the card reader is a bit of a faf getting media cards in the slots but that is the only bad point.
