Acer Aspire AX1420

The specs list the max memory as 4GB but that's definitely the case. I added 8GB and a Radeon 6570 to make this one quick little machine.

Quiet, fast, and cheap

Preloaded software is ridiculous....insert the Windows 7 CD and wipe the drive. Keyboard and mouse are cheap but for $299 what do you expect

Wish This Was Still In Stock

I picked this up in May to replace an XP desktop that -- while putting up a valiant effort -- eventually succumbed to the dust that comes with the shop environment (we deal with used tires and scrap metals). Very impressed with the performance, would...

Small form factor (fits on desk) ; Spectacular CPU for the price ; DDR3 compatibility ; Super quiet ; Windows 7 (the user it was for would never have managed Windows 8)

No HDMI or DVI port, though hardly an inconvenience

Value plus performance Acer

Wish I had bought two--one for a gift.

Smooth, fast and dynamic Desktop with a smaller than ; usual formfactor. My IBM Thinkcentre gave up the ghost recently, luckily I knew to check out Newegg. Quad core ; Win 7 64-bit, card reader, two separate audio jacks n mic ; 2front four rear USB...

It could use a better graphics card, perhaps. But upgradeable to Win8 for those who want that. Side load ; DVD CD drive takes some getting used to-but no major ; faults. Overall, nice system. Upgradeable RAM for techheads

Acer Aspire

Price was nice for what I use computer for, appears to be satisfactory, and hopes it will continue to perform to a standard life of at least a few years. The mouse I find a little touchy, but in all keyboard works well. Fast loading, and very happy...

Great beginner desktop

Fantastic little machine, zippy, cheap and I use it everyday with a smile. This is partly because I intended to install a video card when purchased, any low-profile card will do wonders in making this the ultimate "second machine".

Small form factor, fits easily on most any size desk. Quiet, loudest noise comes from the huge hard drive. Plenty of space for most any collection of apps. A pleasure to use on a daily basis and with the amount of RAM really "peppy

The on-board video accelerator is good at doing only what the machine was designed to do (surf the web and document editing). Do not intend to do anything graphically intense (easy example, Minecraft runs at approximately 6-10 FPS with all graphics...

Acer AX1420-UR10P (PT.SG9P2.003)

Bought to replace old e machines brand we had for seven years. This acer was newer and had better specs overall, and it was good price. So far no problems and happy with what it does for what we want.

Fast, easy, the way I like em

Smaller than expected but nothing outside of that that comes to mind

computer

overall this computer is very good for office use but if you want a gameing computer just throw in a new graphics card and it can run every game smooth recommend the Radeon r7650 2gig overclocked special off newegg

very very small almost no work space and the psu is 200 watts if you throw in a new graphics you need to get a 400 watt or higher

Acer AX1420-UR10P (PT.SG9P2.003)

I bought this as a present for my grandmother who was running on a 2001 DELL. Obviously, this beats the pants off of it. She only ever plays 2d games and browses the net so it's perfect for her, and it saves her a bunch of space. She also now has a DVD...

Extremely small for a desktop PC, they did a good job making it compact ; Great for somebody who just browses the net and plays SIMPLE games, 2d graphics and such. Wouldn't try to play Skyrim on it or anything ; Not really much else to say in this...

DVD drive opens sideways, unless you lay the machine on the side I suppose. Standing upright it's vertical. Might not bug many of you, but it does bug me a little. Especially since it seems backward to me (DVD tray is facing away from you if you keep...

Not what I expected, but great system

I bought a Radeon 6790 GPU and realized after I ordered the products that it wouldn't fit as is. I do feel that newegg should at least post and show what kind of motherboard it is for case compatibility. Once I get a new case and power supply I should...

This PC is fast. I put to rest my 10 year old Gateway Laptop and replaced it with this. I noticed the difference immediately. It's quiet and is overall a great computer

This is where my tech skills become average. The case is extrememely small. It's been a while since I bought a PC and when I was looking at this online, the case looked bigger than it is. I didn't think to look at the dimensions online as I'm not used...
