non-responsive touch

I had high hopes for this unit. Acer comes up with some innovative devices but they often seem a bit unfinished.

It sounded cool

It doesn't work! Powered on and stuck at language selection with NO method to proceed. I should know better than to purchase something if there is even one DOA or early fail review

Love it, wish it were Jelly Bean

Don't think of it as a big tablet, think of it as a smart display you hang on the wall or set on the kitchen counter. There are so many things you can do with this - media client, wall mounted digital picture frame, uPNP renderer, mirror, streaming...

HDMI input, great color and brightness (overall great screen), great viewing angle, very well designed wireless keyboard even if you don't need it. Strong wifi reception. Thin! 1/3 the thickness of my less-smart Acer PC monitors. Can be rooted if...

A bit sluggish in UI, ICS instead of JB - that's why one star knocked off. Two point multi-touch instead of 5 or 10. Doesn't have a traditional monitor stand. Kind of heavy compared to a regular monitor due to the touch screen glass

Amazing deal, on clearance

I bought a display model for $200, and the salesman decided to unplug the unit while it was doing a factory reset. Needless to say, I ended up returning it, since it wouldn't start up, and ended up with a new one.The form factor is really nice. The...

A great device even for a higher price

It could not have been packed better. Unpacking and set up takes about four minutes. Set it on your desk, connect the HDMI cable, USB cable, power cord, push the power button, select your language and keyboard, enter your Wi-Fi password and presto, you...

I have a hard time remembering that it is a tablet

A great tablet for the kitchen. The kids love to watch movies on it and I love the flexibility of having a mounted tablet that the kids cant get to. I got a really good deal on this product, but for another $150 you can get an all in one and have more...

Size, display, features

Processor, speakers are awful

Great for younger children

I bought this product specifically because we wanted a larger version of a tablet that could be placed in house where the kids (4 & 2) could be monitored easily. The kids love it. It has everything any other Android system has, and the camera works...

Design works for our family's needs, good quality all-around

Price could be better, not practical for many people

Love this "giant tablet"

Let me start off by saying that this is exactly what I wanted it to be....a giant tablet. It is NOT a "personal computer" so anyone expecting it to be one will be disappointed. It runs on the Android OS, and functions like a giant smartphone or tablet....

Fun and easy to use, portable

not compatible with all android apps
