Acer Revo 3601

Small, well designed, simple to set up and use and quiet. Looks good beside the TV, DVD etc. Totally suited to its role as a media server and casual browsing PC linked to the TV. Does exactly what I bought it for and does it very well. Price is very...

MINOR POINTS: Some of the ports are a bit fiddly to get at. NOT a high performance PC, but this is not what I got it for and was what I expected, probably not brilliant as a games machine, but I don't know: I haven't tried to play any!. No optical...

I use the product as a compact media server connected to a flat screen tv. This seems to work well and I have a USB TV tuner so I have replaced an old Humax Freeview PVR quite successfully. There is an external SATA drive port which I have used to for...

The computer is fantastic, fast, loads of storage, light, and best of all super quiet. My external hard drive is twice as loud as the computer itself.

The design shape is the only let down in my opinion. It is good if its mounted to the back of a monitor but if its sitting out in the open it looks abnormal. Not a big deal to worry about compared to the good points.

Compact design, plenty of ports, dongle works fine with mouse and keyboard- provided keyboard is compact- more like a laptop - but that fits well with the design.

none so far - but why do you think it is a laptop

Small Does the job adequately

Very Slow at times Needs a useable 'User Manual' The one provided is absolute rubbish! Should have the 'system' disks provided.
