Acer Veriton VL410-UD4201P Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 1GB DDR2 160GB ATI Radeon X1250 IGP Windows XP Professional

Again, mine is the Intel C2D version, so no idea if this applies to your Athlon models. If anyone has success with 2x2-GB sticks, please let us know the model of memory. ;-)

Awesome little beast (note the word "little"). Reasonable speed (once you uninstall the crapware that Acer installs on them). Quiet. I have 3 of them, purchased 5 months ago & running 24/7. No regrets

To INCOGNITO: I have the Intel version, and have been unsuccessfull so far in upgrading the memory. Mine came with 2-GB (2x1-GB sticks). I've purchased 3 different brands of 4-GB (2x2-GB sticks) memory, same speed & specs of what mine came with, and...

even with the PSU problems i will take another of these CPU's because they really are nice, this is actually the 2nd one i have bought from newegg and the first is running excellent after 6 months, i talked to newegg and within minutes i had my RMA...

This is a good little bookshelf PC, 2.2 gb AMD dual processors really moves along, the 1 gb memory and 160 gb dual HDD is great, and Win XP over Vista is topnotch

Nice System... small issue

This class of system is a good machine for offices where desk space is at a premium. I have installed nearly 10 of this type of Acer with only 1 issue which Acer corrected quickly. (RMA) Again, this is not a gaming rig...

This is a Great Small Form Factor Windows PC. It still is available with XP Pro, has enough RAM for most normal business applications and once you disable most of the Acer Utilities, it moves right along. If you are looking for a machine to Web Surf,...

This unit does not like to eject the CD using the front button, it's a mechanical issue. The system ejects fine when using the "eject" from the context menus. I've installed a shortcut Utility to get the user by this issue. Also the ACER installed...

Small form, big performance

Adding memory was not too hard and it looks like upgrading to a larger disk would be easy as well, but forget about any add in cards -- not much space for anything.

Worked fine right out of the box. I added 1gb mem. Its connected to a USB HDTV/QAM tuner and a 50' HDTV in my home theater. The small form factor was the selling point ; The slot DVD drive is nice (no trays to break) and the ATI 1280 graphics is just...

Size and noise levels are ok, (as long as the dvds have no labels pasted on (then it can get loud enough to hear) due to the disk vibration. The power light is very bright --distracting when watching TV or a movie. I used some black tape on it. Widows...

DVD doesnt work

If the bad dvd isnt a sign of things to come i would say its a good machine. The jurys out though

Small, compact and runs well

Right out of the box the DVD drive would not recognize anything, all it wanted to do was try and burn a disk. Being its a new machine there is no tech suppourt for it at all
