Just got my system 2 days ago, and was happy as a clam. Until I started it up.

My CD got stuck in the hardrive. Unlike an optical hardrive where you can prop open the tray with a wire, it is impossible to get the CD out from this computer. WTF! You would think an expensive computer would worked out all of the flaws but no.

I purchased this Alienware X51 and used it without problems for 2 months. I liked the small size and, in general, I was pleased. Then one day the machine just stopped booting. The power button would light up and the fan would come on, but nothing...

I purchased this machine on June 12th, 2012, after my Alienware Blackbird 002 bit the dust. I have been a lifetime Dell customer, until now.

Okay okay. Yes you can build a gaming pc for cheaper, true. But I find the convenience of this bundle worth the buy. Ive had this pc for over a month now. Tested various games, and I'll tell you now, I love it.

Updated Aug 17: Rating raised from 2 stars to 3 stars based on offer from Dell Service to correct the antenna issue in comment to this review. Will adjust rating further based on my experience after the repair.

As of 21 Jun 2012, the company is still shipping this outstanding computer with a faulty wireless card. After the system arrived I had to run out and purchase a wireless stick (thank you reviewer J. Martin). Worked like a charm, but still unacceptable....
