Decent Case

I'd have taken a cabinet that was a bit smaller but the price was right from Newegg. Regor 245, 4GB RAM 1333, 160GB WD, Edimax Wireless. Adesso wireless keyboard w trackball.

Horizontal so it fits for my HTPC application. Plenty of ventilation. Nice arrangement for 2 disks and 2-DVDs. Power supply is 380w sufficient for me. Well made with no sharp edges. Power supply is isolated from the rest of the layout for cooling. I...

It's just about 0.5 inches too deep for my cabinet. I had to make some holes in the back so plugs could stick our and get some relief. I could have checked dimensions before I ordered it. Anyway, the result is ok. Just remember the size stuff

It's big

It's super cool and super quiet.

This case is excellent! It keeps very cool and very quiet, even with two 120mm fans on the side. The cable management inside the case is excellent. HDD mounts are a bit tricky, but it's because the case uses rubber washers to keep hard drive vibration...

The case is bigger than you might think. It is full-height and covers a rather large footprint. Can't install more than two HDDs even though there is room because of the mount setup

Running with quad core 6600, 4gb ram, intel mobo, vista home, and I forgot my graphics card. This is probably my 5th Antec case. I will never buy another brand of case or power supply.

Easily fits a micro atx board without issue. The cable management inside is great. I can't hear the fans at all. No overheating issues. This is my htpc, that runs constantly. I think I put together everything in a half hour

They should have made the front of it black, but I don't really care. All my components are different colors anyway. Make sure it will fit your home theater rack. Mine fit by about an eighth of an inch. Take measurements before you buy. The blue lights...

Very well designed, can't go wrong with it

It gets 4 eggs and not 5 because of the power supply's lack of SATA connectors. Still, using this case reminds me why I love Antec products so much. The case is better suited for a server than for a HTPC because it can only support 2 hard drives.

Internally, it is very well designed. It 3 compartments for the power supply and DVD drive, for the motherboard, and for the hard drive. Included are 2 extra cable ties that are like the ones you get with a power supply. This makes it easy to get good...

The included power supply only had 2 SATA power connectors. The two were on the same cable as well. Antec clearly forgot that even many DVD drives are SATA only now. This is a huge negative because one of the reasons for buying Antec cases is because...

good value HTPC cases

Cheap include 380 power supply

Silver front plate and black body. Must be designed by a developer and not someone know anything about HT rack. Most home audio equiqments are black. Antec sells a similar case all black but no power supply and a lot more $$. Fans better off in the...

More excellence from Antec

Looks great, runs with a full size power supply allowing for easy future upgrades. Overall a solid buy

Very well built with an excellent layout that helps to maintain steady operating temperatures. By sectioning off power supply, optical drive, hard drive, and motherboard areas everything looks good while still running at descent temperatures

While layout is good, something to consider though is your video card choice. I, in an attempt to lower noise emissions, went with a silent no fan 9600Gt card. Since no air was being pushed front to back, the card had a tendency to go yellow when it...

I would buy another

I love this case. Here's what I put in it, all from Newegg. With combo deals and free shipping items I keep the HTPC under $420. * Antec New Solution NSK2480 Black/Silver 0.8mm cold-rolled steel MicroATX Desktop Computer Case 380W Power Supply *...

Antec makes well designed cases and this is no exception. I used this case to build an Linux HTPC. The case is as large as my AV receiver and fits well in an AV cabinet. Make sure you provide for plent of air flow to keep things inside cool ; Rubber...

I can confirm an earlier review that reported the front side USB was not grounded properly. My unit came with a dedicated ground wire from the front panel to the inside front of the case. When I inserted a USB stick it caused my PC to reboot. Luckily...

Beautiful HTPC Case

This is a decent HTPC case. I am running an ECS G31T-M9, E6300 Wolfdale, 4GB OCZ platinum, Asus 9600GSO, WD 1TB Caviar Green, Lite-on BD-ROM, pcHDTV-5500, and MythDora 10.2.

Antec obviously put a lot of thought into this design. All the details are there: good cable management, very good airflow, quiet fans (though not silent even on low), thoughtfully designed hard drive cage with rubber grommets for quiet running, and...

I am not sure if this was the motherboard manufacturer's fault or Antec's fault, but the motherboard i/o plate was very difficult to install. Either the hole in the back plate was slightly too small or the i/o plate was a bit too big. A nit pick at best

Sleek case

This is the case I wanted for my desktop PC. My 19" LCD monitor sits directly on top of it with the speakers behind the monitor. This gets everything on the desktop without taking up a lot of room and looks great!

Good looking, solid design, runs very cool, quiet, and easy to build

If you need a lot of power or multiple external drives this is probably not the case for you. If you can get by without an extreme video card and only 1 or 2 5.25 " external drives and you want a desktop computer then this is a good bet
