Amazing machine.

Lenovo customer support is the best I have ever experienced with anything tech-based. Call centers are typically in Atlanta when I need things. Ironic because Lenovo is a Chinese company and has the sense to base customer service for the states... in...

Lenovo makes some excellent products. I feel that all of these desktops are a high cost to performance ratio because I build my own desktops. However, this was purchased for my mother through an education fund. The wifi antenna is a beast with a ~4ft...

Good Buy

I bought this on sale and with free shipping and extended warranty thrown in too. It is a lot of computer for the price. Newegg got it to me quickly and I've haven't had a single hitch or hassle in getting it up and doing what I want it to do. It is fast

Product Specifications

SurgeArrest provides centralized power management and surge protection for complete control of up to 5 peripherals (6 total outlets). SurgeArrest is designed for multimedia applications and desktop systems including computers, CD ROM drives, monitors, printers, fax machines, modems and more. SurgeArrest is also available in 230v and 120v versions. Besides controlling power to as many as five computer peripherals, the benefits of the SurgeArrest include: Lowest IEEE 587 Category A Let-through and UL 1449 330V. IEEE tests simulate severe surge events common to the home and office environment. SurgeArrest provides the lowest let-through voltages for maximum protection. Moreover, SurgeArrest's 330V rating is UL's best available rating against devastating surges and spikes. All SurgeArrest products have received UL's 330V rating. Noise filtering stops glitches. SurgeArrest attenuates EMI/RFI line noise that can cause data errors and keyboard lockups. Catastrophic event protection for safety. SurgeArrest is equipped with a fast acting fuse that reacts quickly to lightning strikes and other catastrophic surge events. In addition, a thermal fuse shuts your system down in the event of a dangerous wiring fault. In both cases, SurgeArrest actually blocks errant power from reaching your equipment if the surge components are damaged. NOTE: Unlike SurgeArrest, most surge suppressors continue to let power through even after circuits have been damaged, leaving your equipment exposed to other damaging surges!
