iMac

The 24-inch iMac is the big boy of Apple's all-in-one desktop line. Despite a new design and upgraded specs, it constitutes a modest update. But this striking system will surely make you look twice.

Sleek, all-in-one design Improved screen quality

All-in-one design limits expansion

As appealing as the new iMac is, with the Leopard operating system coming soon (at around the time you read this), I'd recommend holding off. If you do, you'll get the new OS preinstalled

Review: 20-inch iMac Core Duo 2.0GHz

I hadn't planned on buying a new desktop computer until the fall, but Apple's iMac update caught me off guard. Suddenly, Apple was selling a computer that seemed to offer the right balance of performance and value to meet the needs of the average...

Great enclosure, excellent display, good dual-binary gaming performance. Huge performance potential

Poor Rosetta performance. Front Row can be unresponsive

One could argue that the iMac is not meant for power users, and that's why Apple transitioned it to Intel first. But cropping images in Photoshop should not cause any dual-2.0GHz machine to slow to a crawl

The iMac Core Duo is undoubtedly one for the future, especially considering the impending release of Windows Vista.

Unit arrived in pristine condition. The shift key wasn't working on the keyboard, but it was promptly replaced by Coretek in a timely fashion.

Good Deal

1GB memory doesn't quite cut it once you get all your apps running. I installed 4GB from Newegg for 40.00. Be aware that while the maximum is 4GB, these models can only utilize 3GB. I paid 159.00 shipped but I wouldn't pay more. Looks a recent price...

Price. Condition was very good. Everything works fine. Mine came loaded with Snow Leopard!

Minor scratch on case just below the screen. I think I got a mouse for a laptop because it's cable is ridiculously short. I had to add a USB extension to make it useful.

Great iMac

I purchased this iMac to add to our "Mac" collection I was surprised in the condition, Excellent

I only had 1 issue and that was the mouse. Contacted the seller and they quickly shipped a replacement.

After reading the "eh" review, I was a bit worried about the condition of the computer before it arrived. However, my unit looks impeccable. No scratches or cosmetic signs of wear of any kind on any of the components. It seems to be working great so...

Price, Very Clean, Works

The shift key on the keyboard doesn't work. Although I set the display on the "brightest", the screen seems as if it could be brighter.
