Great System For the Price

I am the cheap pragmatic type and this product definitely "got it done" for me and my Worlds of Warcraft addiction after adding the video card.

Works great out of the box, I had no issues setting this up and installing everything

The onboard graphics does not work for games BUT you can add a graphics card at little cost that will work for games and have dual monitors! I did this and it works great

Versatile barebones--a good buy

I put an AMD AthlonX2 Dual Core (BE-2400) in this thing, with 4 MB RAM (all purchased from Newegg), and it runs very cool. Cool air blows out of the case--I don't feel any heat at all! I am impressed.

Outstanding amount of ports (USB, Firewire, HDMI, SATA, ESATA, SPDIF, 6 channel surround sound, card reader, DVI...did I miss any?), for all kinds of uses ; I didn't find the case cramped --lots of room for air circulation and for cables (especially if...

Only one SATA cable included, and only one SATA power outlet on stock power supply. Be prepared to buy a cable and a 4 pin Molex to SATA adapter ; Power supply is likely underpowered, depending on how full you stuff this thing. Consider getting one...

ASUS GOOD

CPU: AMD Athlon x2 7750 ($69) OC'd to 3.1GHz RAM: Kingston HyperX 2GB PC8500 ($30) 1066Mhz and I was able to get benchmarks that rival or beat a more expensive Intel E8600 or Q6600 system Thanks AMD + ASUS

System is loaded with features ; Overclock capabilities ; LOTS OF USB ports ; MediaCard bundled

DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE NEW BIOS 0406 ; I tried it and after I did it the on/off switch would not work. I would have to power off the PSU (switch at the back) wait for the mobo light to go off and do this 3 times, before the system would be able to be...

WDP

Have put together many barebones like ASUS, MSI, Shuttle and others. For the price, this one tops them all. Not a gamer but does most everything else well. Installed XP Pro, and linux fedora 10 dual boot with ease. The drivers supplied installed...

Misinformed

This is a response to the reviewer that gave this box 2 eggs - the term barebones means a box with a power supply and motherboard. nothing else. the user adds everything else. dont drop a products rating because you dont understand the terms. also the...

Mixed Bag 3.5 Eggs/ 5

All in all the performance is pretty good with Vista 64 a mere AMD 64X2 4200, 3 g of ram, and the LG super Blu drive. The HDMI is the real issue for me as I intended to test this as a HTPC - It will not pass video or audio through my sony STRDA5200ES -...

Motherboard is loaded :usb, firewire, sata, esata, dsub, hdmi, dvi, display port,iee1394,optical out. Motherboard is an Asus M3A78EM / V

Case is very cramped. You can barely add or remove ram or attach the cpu fan poower (4pin)without removing the Hard drives. It is just way to cramped. Worst though is the power supply it is non standard form and only 300 watts, but the real downfall is...

Wow! This is HTPC heaven

Tons of storage options ; recommend WD 1TB SATA quiet, no Seagate Clunk

Wish ASUS bought into the 'silent-PC' movement. Coolermaster has some great 'silent PC' cases, but no mobo/power supply options

Great little system

I am a system builder so I do about 35 to 40 of these a month. Great product for the price.

Great case for any build. I love Asus barebones as they are stout little cases. Never had any problems with them. Most people that report problems with ALL Asus barebones have not set the correct voltage on the back of the case. Factory it comes set at...

Shipping this case is kind of expensive, I love it when NE ffers free shipping on this.

ASUS V3-M2NC61P AMD Socket AM2+ / AM2 NVIDIA MCP61P 2-Tone Barebone - Retail

The ASUS line of Barebones are well thought out and very easy to get up and running...My personal computer is an Asus running an FX55 with 2 gigs of ram, and it is the first computer that I have used for more than 6 months ..I usually build them and...

nice setup...Have been building ASUS barebones for a long time now..usually very reliable..and cool running..x2-4600 running at 34C...

will not run an internal card reader...hooked up two different card readers and got the same error message on both..looked for a bios update and there are no bios updates..Ran in to the same problem with another ASUS barebones that came with a built in...
