ASUS CM6870-CA-3AA

Still was great deal at under $700, with a few upgrades here and there, it will serve for years to come

Good CPU, enough USB ports, media card reader was a surprise, included Blu-Ray reader, not noisy

No SSD, weak video card as expected, but 350 PSU was lower then i thought i'd be, had to get new PSU to upgrade the video card

Not sure what to make of the randomly occurring blue screen of death 4-5 times a day. It occurs even when it is sitting idle. It has done this ever since I first booted it up, after a clean install of Windows 7 - 64 bit onto a newly formatted 240 GB...

Good base setup. Needs upgrading of some parts to really make it shine.

Replaced the power supply with a 700W one, the graphics card with a GTX460, and added a 240GB SSD and a Bluray burner, all salvaged from the computer I was upgrading. Much improved. Great cheap base setup which can be built into a nice computer.

System is fast, especially considering the price. Cannot build the core for less if you bought the parts separately. Well worth the money. 2TB hard drive is nice. 16 GB RAM

Power supply, graphics card, and WLAN are all pretty weak. I guess they had to cut costs somewhere but had to ding an egg for that. No Bluetooth. Could have used some more on-board USB

Most for your Money

I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

The combination of parts in this packaged PC are worth much, much more than the total price for this machine. I'm not sure which part was considered "refurbished" (as the page does not say and they all look fine) but this is the smoothest machine I've...

Only one: the case isn't optimal for running at long intervals of high-performance computing, as it doesn't breathe very well. It's a pretty standard-looking PC case that hides all of the power and beauty inside of it. This is so easily fixed though...

ASUS CM6870 Essentio Series Not a Winner

Truly you'd expect some support from the company you bought this from, but they washed their hands of it shortly after we started having problems and pushed us off to ASUS support for help. It took three calls before we got a competent tech at ASUS to...

It is only second to one other PC computer rated recently by a "major" consumer magazine, and conceptually has some great features even for the $800 we paid for it brand new in January 2013. Machine is very quick and can handle most difficult...

It by far has been the worst nightmare of a computer we have ever owned. Until we finally, through ASUS support, found out how to set a "restore point" because we got the "black screen of death" (Window 7), to counter the daily 3-4 crashes for no...

Worst product ever

Absolutely none

We bought this product brand new over two months ago and have used it approximately 4 days. We tried to return it to newegg, but they couldn't take it back because we used the upc code to get the $50 rebate that was promised with it. We sent it back to...

Not worth the money

After 2 + months of WIN8 I want to go back to WIN7 but you cannot downgrade or remove WIN8 due to ASUS non support and MS BIOS controls...unless you run killdisk and wipe the slate clean you are stuck.

Don't buy from Newegg.

None

When I got this PC two weeks ago I immediately looked for my 4 TB hard drive space and found 2TB on the D: and .2 on the C: drive. I eventually found that the remaining 1.8 was locked up in an unallocated partition. After countless emails between...
