The machine works fine. Using an external BlacX eSata drive bay and a WD20EARS 2tb drive the power consumption is between 30 and 35 watts. Pretty good in my opinion

I ended up returning this, I was really looking for a small HTPC and this didn't cut it. Trying to stream Hulu was a joke, and the remotes interface with WMP was laggy and slow to respond. This did not cut it for me. I ended up getting a Zino HD.
