Asus Republic of Gamers G11CD – PC Review

The Asus ROG G11CD is proof that you don't have to spend more than £1,000 to get a solid gaming system.

The Asus ROG G11CD is a competent system for 1080p gaming, especially on less demanding titles – like those designed for esports. The Core i5 processor is a solid bit of kit, too, and the machine looks the part thanks to its Mayan patterns and RGB LEDs.

Asus G11CD Review

The Asus G11 is an impressive value for those looking to dip their feet into PC gaming. Its compact design and included mouse and keyboard make it easy to get right to playing, and its Core i7 processor and GTX 960 GPU provide gaming muscle that defies...

Attractive, compact design ; Strong gaming performance ; Included mouse and keyboard

Lackluster software ; No upgradability

The Asus G11 is a compact and attractive gaming desktop that offers strong performance for less than $1,000.

Asus Gaming G11CD-K (GTX 1050 – i5 7400 Kabylake)

The Asus G11CD is a compact gaming PC featuring a Core i5 7400 processor with Nvidia GTX1050 graphic The Asus G11CD is a compact gaming PC featuring a Core i5 7400 processor and Nvidia GTX1050 graphics

Attractive design.

A little noisy under load thanks in part to the CPU cooler.

Kitguru says: If you are looking for a nicely designed, general use PC which can handle some gaming then the Asus Gaming G11CD-K deserves consideration. Nvidia’s GTX1050 isn’t a solution for intensive gaming sessions, but it is reasonably capable if...

Nice one stop shop for Gaming Pc on a budget.

I would recommend this Pc, It's the first Pc that's ever impressed me right out of the box. And a Month later I'm still impressed.

It can handle all the games I play on maxed settings with 60+ fps. Just to give you a Idea It runs Overwatch on High with 150 fps constantly.

I have had no problems with it in the past month. My only complaint is it should come with more Ram, But that's easy to fix down the road.

easy set up fast computer

If you dont have time and just want a plug and play then i would highly recommend this computer. But if you want to upgrade in the future i suggest you to some research before purchasing.

Runs overwatch really well great gaming pc i have the intel i5 6400 running 2.7ghz very smooth great overall plug in pc highly recommended.

this is what i found out after i bought i did a little research. Turns out this computer cannot be upgraded. maybe the RAM. But since there are all these frames in the case the motherboard and graphics card will be impossible to get to. I bought this...

The gaming computer I wanted!

Yes, Alienware with similar specs is around $1500. I also have an Asus laptop and they seem to sacrifice frilly stuff for max speed and gaming capability; this computer seems to also have great value and speed. This computer has the 2nd best GeForce...

Just streamed a game on ultra settings, running multiple widgets, all USB spots used, and recorded simultaneously. All processes and the game ran perfect, and the computer still didn't make any noise besides the hum of the fan. I like the headphones...

Only thing is I'd like more than 6 USB ports in the back.

Had some starting issues but now it works like a jewel

runs most of my games at 1080p with no issues. I've had some slow startup times, but nothing so significant that I question the integrity of the machine. all in all a great device

had some issues on the first day. the machine crashed as I was downloading direct x. one hardware malfunction of the wifi device, 4 hours of phone calls, multiple system recoveries later everything was working again.

Asus PC

Gives me everything I need in a home PC without getting involved in building one.

Just what I needed for 90% of what I wanted. ASUS makes a good product and offers good tech support for their products.

If you wanted a blu-ray player with your desktop, be advised that Microsoft may or may NOT provide support for it with Win10. I spent more than an hour with ASUS trying to get my bluray to at least play dvds. We got that all right, but the bluray might...

Great desktop for the price!

If you purchase it, note that making any upgrades or opening up the computer voids the warranty. I won't be making any changes until a year or two from now, so it doesn't really affect me.

- Runs every game I play on max settings smoothly - Handles games like Dark Souls III and Blade & Soul nicely - Fairly quiet - Cooling system is very efficient and works well - LEDs look really cool - Open RAM slot for the future

- Does not support dual graphics cards (do your research)

So far so good!

So far its a great system for running all my games on ultra while doing video/photo editing. The Aegis II recording system is great, nice and easy to use .

The case seems a little smaller then I thought it would be, which could make it possible to overheat. The Aegis II recording system has been corrupting some of my videos or when I get finished recording it shuts itself off and when I go back in to look...
