ASUS S-presso Deluxe (S1-P111)

As the "deluxe" name implies, the S-presso Deluxe is the most feature laden of two models ASUS is offering. The standard model follows a more typical mini-PC approach, while the Deluxe brings some unique options not commonly found in other offerings. ...

When drawing conclusions on a relatively unique piece of equipment, we needed to break things up a bit when collecting our thoughts on the S-presso Deluxe. As we reported, the S-presso Deluxe comes with a number of unique features, but is not without...

ASUS S-presso S1 Review: Small barebone System with Huge Potential

We would like to introduce to you a product that boasts small dimensions, a high-wattage power supply, a well-designed cooling system, excellent functionality and cute looks. Don't also forget the opportunity of transforming this barebone into a...

I have named it the "Vacuum Cleaner"

Ionly see the "Mesa Partition not found" error when I try to touch the face to "wake" the PC. This is because I didn't take the time to install the linux boot partition using their CD. I also didn't have any issues installing a WD Raptor 80 GB SATA on...

Great, solid compact unit. Runs quiet until you turn fan conrtol off(Which is required to keep your system cool)

Loud when running the fans at full throttle. It runs hot out of the box. You have to disable the automatic fan control in the bios to keep it cool, then it gets quite loud. I will have to mod this one to reduce the sound

Things that make you go, hmmmm

Sharp looking unit..blue exterior with Black front with LCD's and a top handle. No problems with overheating but I am not overclocking this unit either. For the average internet user. Date and Time is on the front when system is off

System kept coming up with a "no MESA Partition Found." Contacted ASUS support, ReFlashed Bios then they sent a new BIOS Chip, replaced it, and same error and now the LCD's don't respond to touch. Going to RMA the unit. I have used the ASUS S-Presso...

ASUS S-presso S1-P111 Deluxe Intel Pentium 4 / Celeron Intel Socket 478 Intel 865G Intel Extreme Graphics 2 Remote Control Barebone

I see the reviews of others that state the system is overheating....I had to disable the BIOS automatic fan speed control. As soon as I did...this ran cool. Having to do that is a bummer, but it will solve the heat problems. I run this with Windows...

Cool and Fast, What More Do You Want?

I absolutely love this PC. It was extremely easy to put together and comes with all the basics you need. I'd recommend a P4 with 1GB RAM and a big hard drive. That and an optical drive and you're ready to go. I added a fast, high end video card to...

Not What it Seems - Research it Hard

This is one of the worst purchacing decisions I have every made. Potential buyers beware. This is not the kind of thing you want to waste hours and hours setting up only to decide you don't like it and want to return it. Unfortunately, much of the...
