Great Office PC

Would be nice if Asus included a DVD or CDROM like the terminator series. I'd still highly recommend this barebone unit for use as an office PC.

Lots of room to work inside. I like the idea you can use your own HSF or Retail box fan, unlike the terminator series. Runs fast and does everything you'd expect for an office PC

After installing two optical drives on one of the units we purchased I noticed that there is a small gap between them. I'm used to seeing no gap like in the terminator series or other case designs that allow for dual optical drive configs

very nice barebone

Celeron D 2.5G Kingston PC2700 1G + 512M Seagate 200G Winxp pro sp2

At this price, it worths every penny. Very quiet, stylish. Enough room for two DVD/CD ROM and two hard drives. No problem with my xp sp2, maybe they have updated the bios

Gotta love these systems

If you need a solid, *cheap*, quiet socket 478 system look no further. Other than the obvious parts, I'd add a gigabit nic. The stock fan works fine up to a P4 3.2G (although the system im describing is diskless and uses onboard video, so isnt very...

I like everything about the asus barebones systems. I've bought a couple of different models and they are each silent, well manufactured, and easy to work with

Misinformation regarding the product as usual... You would be hard put to find any motherboard with 'hardware raid'. Many motherboards have onboard controllers that claim some level of RAID functionality. If you want a sata controller you are far...

Nice Setup

UPS is very bad. Pay the extra two bucks and go with Fed Ex. It would be nice to see Newegg offer Fed Ex Ground service.

Nice small size ; Good speed when paired with Celeron D ; enough room for a couple of hard drives and cd roms

White power cable with black case....go figure

Very Satisfied

I wasn't sure how I would like this unit after reading the reviews, but I love it! I paired it up with a 2800+ Sempron, 512mb pc3200, and a 120gb WD HD. Except for having to flash the bios (which i knew ahead of time) the installation was painless. ...

ASUS VINTAGE Intel Pentium 4 / Celeron Intel Socket 478 SiS 661FX SiS Real 256E Barebone

Awesome BB system. Built it with a P4 3.0 Prescott, 1 gig PC-3200, AIW 9600 XT, 80 gig HD, DVD-RW. Fast, powerful and extremely quiet using the oem components. More quiet than my last system which had expensive "quiet" components.
