Absolutely no problem installing it to replace my rental modem on Comcast. Just gave them the model and MAC from the sticker and was up and running in a few minutes. The rental savings will pay for the modem in less than a year. Speed is excellent.

Modem works great, easy installation, a great buy. Purchased due to Comcast phasing out DOCSIS 1 & 2 equipment.Now if I could only get the same quality service from Comcast.....

Have had a Zoom modem for about 5 years now, no problems ever. Upgraded to this from a Zoom DOCSIS 2.0 modem. Download speeds went from 15 mbps to 25, but upload stayed at only 3 (or less). No problems installing with Comcast.

I did a decent amount of research and settled on the Zoom 5341J (emphasis on the 'J' in the model) It was a cinch to set up. I've had zero issues and a 20% improvement in speed over the 3 year old modem that I'd been leasing from Comcast.
